Today 1.1 billion people do not have access to clean drinking water. 1.8 million people will die this year because of waterborne disease. Waterborne disease can be caused by protozoa, viruses, bacteria, and intestinal parasites.

There are 6,500 people dying each day, 5000 of those are children. This is a direct result of not having clean water to drink…How can you and I help?  Visit the Water Solution page to find out what you can do right now to make a difference.

We are helping in Haiti to provide filters after the earthquake.  We are working with Senator Inhoffs office,International Relief and Development Office and USAID to get the first load of filters down to Haiti in the next few days.

Long after the news media has left, and relief workers have gone home, the need for water is still there.  A Water Is Life filter will provide 3 liters of water everyday for 1 year.  All of your $10 donation goes to put a filter into the hands of someone who desperately needs them.
